Is this the one

For the past few days I have hearing news of earthquakes close to Sri Lanka , tremors in Tissamaharama and the recent earthquake in the Indian Ocean has been felt by some of my colleagues have felt it too. I have never felt anything yet though. Anyway today as soon as bought the Daily Mirror (July 27th 2007) my eyes caught the bottom of the froont page giving a picture of the seismic forces on the plates on which Sri Lanka is situated.

So according to it and other articles that have appeared in the newspapers, it seems that Sri Lanka may be in for the “Big One“.

This is not at all good since our country is ill prepared for a natural disaster such as an earthquake (all right we are ill prepared for all types of natural disasters). I wonder whether when the engineers who designed bridges, high rise buildings, etc would have taken an earthquake into consideration because if they did not then I am sure any one of us would not like to be close to these when an earthquake strikes.

Coming to think of it I wonder whether this has anything to do with the prophesy that I posted sometime back(links are given below). It is not clear what type of disaster this prophesy predicted, at a glance it looks like a volcano (which I think is highly unlikely) but most of what it says is symbolic. Maybe the prophesy predicted an earthquake or maybe not, but what is important is that a natural disaster was predicted.

Coming back to the earthquake since there is no way of exactly predicting when one will strike added to that Sri Lanka lacks seismic monitors in the areas where the tremors are being felt, we are sitting duck until one hits us and probably the US or Indian Geological Centers would have to give us the magnitude of the earthquake that we were hit with.

Prophecy regarding Sri Lanka : The Actual Transcript

The first time I posted about the prophecy of Judgement on Sri Lanka on May 22nd, I did it by recalling the entire thing from memory. Now here is the actual transcript. The link to the website with the actual transcript is given at the bottom.

Pas. Judika Rajapakse, an alumni of AGBC shares how God revealed to her about the upcoming judgement upon the land of Sri Lanka.

Beginning in the year 2005 I was prompted to seek God increasingly. From the beginning of year 2007 I spent extended times of fasting and praying.

In the final week of April 2007 as I was praying I saw a vision. The vision was of a multitude of people just like us who had the same color of our skin lifting their hands upward asking for help. I did not hear them speak but their faces indicated as though they were in grave need. After this vision I had a great burden to pray and I did continue to pray. Then I saw many dead bodies scattered on the ground. I realized that a devastation was about to come.

The same week I was scheduled to preach on Sunday, therefore I prayed and asked the Lord to give me a message. While praying God revealed to me that a judgment is impending and would result in the death of many people therefore people should be called into repentance as soon as possible. And I was asked to preach the message of the cross. I was asked to not cry on that day or to be sorry or wait to help but to cry now. I shared this message on the 29^th of April in our church.

This great urgency led me to fast and pray and on the 2^nd May I once again saw people dead on the ground biting into the sand and with their hands squeezing the sand of the ground. Further I saw from afar pieces of cloth on the ground. Most of these were white in color some blue and some color in between. Suddenly it came closer and what I had seen were the dead bodies of a many children. Maybe the cloth I saw from afar were the clothes they were wearing. This disturbed me so severely and I began to pray, I could not bear the pain and I began to weep. When I asked the Lord what this is he revealed to me the following:

This will come upon children and young people on the streets.
Women will shed tears like water and cry unbearably
Death will enter and attack children and young people

Dead bodies were scattered like heaps of garbage. Mothers wept like Rachel wept for her children, no word consoled them, and those without children are blessed.

I felt like I was standing before a television and watching. And I saw a mother carrying the corpse of a dead child around the age of 10-12 and crying. The hands of the child were hanging on one end and the legs lifelessly hanging from the knee down. I heard the voice saying cry as though you are crying for your only child. There are no words to describe the agony of these things that I saw. Again I started to pray overwhelmed by the great pain and I was later led to the verses in Jeremiah 6:10-12, 9:17-22.

On the 4th May the Lord spoke to me once again and told me to strengthen myself and wait upon Him without eating or drinking for three days. I was obedient and waited when God said I did not ask you to wait in vain. Speaking to me from Esther 4:14 He said to me, don’t you know that you came into the kingdom for such a time as this. Below are the things God told me during these times of prayer.

There is a sound of war and of destruction coming from this land. There will be destruction over destruction and it will happen suddenly. Do not go about doing anything on that day; do not be on the streets, the sword of the enemy and fear is everywhere. Destruction will come suddenly.It will come irrespective of people. The homes of people and that which was gathered by them will be destroyed

There is a great fear and darkness around. People are running all over for safety. Tall buildings crumble down and large things like fortresses also crashed. Large hills came rolling down and people got buried underneath them. The ground split open in quite a dangerous manner. Then in desperation I asked if the reservoirs that are above will be destroyed along with the falling mountains, but I had no reply. Then I saw a dark red and black thick substance under the ground getting stirred up as though it wanted to come out. There were large bubbles rising from it. At first I did not understand it but was told that it is a volcano beneath the surface of the earth. I did not understand this because the volcanoes that I have seen were of a different shape. Then I heard the voice saying to me you will be shown a volcano tonight which will be confirmation of what you have seen. That night at home the family was watching the news telecast when I passed by; suddenly it was reported on the news that a volcano had erupted in Italy. I turned and saw the eruption which was confirmation of what I saw previously.

I was disturbed very much after this knowing that a great tragedy was coming, therefore I continued to pray. I felt a deep pain and started weeping; there was no strength in me to do anything else. The wonderful experience I had during these days was that I felt no hunger or thirst nor did my lips dry up. I had no sense of day or night and I was totally in a different experience. I prayed and said to the Lord that I do not doubt any of this and I believe, yet I asked the Lord to confirm this to me one more time. The Lord spoke through His word and confirmed it.

Isaiah 21:11-12 “An oracle concerning Dumah, Someone calls to me from Seir, Watchman what is left of the night? The Watchman replies, morning is coming, but also the night. If you would ask then ask; and come back yet again.” I prayerfully asked the meaning of this verse and the following was told to me:

You are living in a silent period, yet it is between two destructions. The second destruction will be greater than the first. People are rebuilding unaware that the second destruction is even greater and is at hand.

Later I studied the passage referring to other books and I found that Dumah means stillness. In history it is stated that this city was situated towards the south east of Judah a main city of the Edomites. The Assyrians came and caused a terrible destruction on the city, but later there came the calmness. This was when they started rebuilding not knowing that the Babylonians would come and cause a greater destruction. Therefore the second destruction was greater than the first.

Later I asked what I should do and the answer was as follows:
Watch during the day and the night. You will see the destruction coming then cry out loud.This will come upon those whose lives are careless and vulnerable.The Attack will be no respecter of person.Proclaim the message as soon as possible

Then I felt so fearful. I was reminded of the responsibility of the watchman over the blood of those who will be destroyed. When I asked to whom I should tell this I heard the voice saying tell my people and my servants. And I was asked to inform Pastor Colton immediately. Finally God spoke through Ezra 10:4 and said “Get up this matter is in your hands, we will support you so take courage and do it.”

After 3 days I shared this with my Pastor Rev Vernon Perera and with Rev Colton Wickramaratne as instructed. With their advice I spoke to the Chairman of our organization on the 10^th May. With his advice I had the opportunity to share this with the Executive Presbytery and the Presbyters. I also shared this with the Principal of the Bible College. All of them felt that this is from God and He has revealed this to us because of His great love, and that we should inform every Christian about this without delay.

Finally my humble request from you is:
1.All Christians should be careful of their lives.
2.Preach the good news to the people in Sri Lanka as soon as possible before the destruction
3.That people will have the opportunity to repent and enter the kingdom of God
4.That we as watchman of this land pray as mediators for the people of the land
5.As in Esther 4:14 ask for the help of the Holy Spirit to usher in a revival of intermediate prayer.

“If my people called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then will I hear from heaven and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

Prophecy regarding Sri Lanka

I recently heard of a prophecy regarding Sri Lanka and according to it God will judge this country. Here is what I heard.

According to this lady she saw three visions while she was praying over a period of three different days.

Vision 1 : In this vision she saw dead bodies of people all over the ground.

Vision 2 : In the second vision she saw what looked like strips of cloth on the ground. They were mainly Blue and White in colour but there were a few of other colours too on the ground. A few moments later suddenly the coloured objects came towards her and then she saw clearly that these were children. Then she saw a young person on the ground dead and with sand in the mouth and the hand gripping the sand tightly. At that moment she saw a woman carrying a child who was dead. The child’s  knees and head were almost falling off.

Vision 3 : The third vision was like non of the last two. In the first two it was as if she was standing and looking at the picture as if shown from a television screen. In the third vision it was as if she was really present at the location. In this vision she saw the ground split and mountains being destroyed. Lava was seen flowing through the areas where the ground had split open. She saw people running away from a thick dark black cloud in the sky. Structures higher than walls but not walls were collapsing to the ground (she is unable to describe what these structures are). A voice in this vision said that Sri Lanka is now in the time interval between two great disasters where the second will be greater than the first. It was told to her that the people who will be destroyed have already been marked for destruction. God has said that it will be very clear when the disaster is coming and people are supposed to remain in their homes and those in the streets will be caught up in it. God has said that mainly the young will be affected by this disaster and on that day it will be better for those who did not have children.

The first disaster spoken about in this prophecy is obviously the Tsunami that hit us in December 2004 and God says that the second will be far greater. This lady now hears the sound of a clock ticking at the back of her head.

The lady who had these visions is a Godly person who has been serving God faithfully for several years. Another prophecy has been given through another person and it says that the earth between Kandy and Hatton will split open. No one knows when this will happen but according to the prophecy there will be a clear sign that the destruction is going to take place.

I know that there are several who will probably laugh at this and post ridiculing comments. The only thing I can tell them is that when it happens they will know that it was correct.

 

Prophesy Concerning Sri Lanka

This may sound crazy to some of you but this is nothing crazy nor hilarious. This is the second time that I am hearing this from two independent sources.

About last year I heard that there was a prophesy that Sri Lanka will get hit by a strong wind and there will be damages. Now I dunno what that meant probably a Cyclone or something like that. Well I did not give it much thought until on Sunday a visitor who came to our church told that a strong wind will hit Sri Lanka including other natural disasters and this was revealed to him while he was praying for Sri Lanka. Well I remembered that this was told before and should be taken seriously.

Apparently I hear that the Tsunami was also prophesied and the prophesy said that there will be more natural disasters that will hit Indonesia too. I did not think of it too much but then how many earthquakes have hit Indonesia after the Tsunami and we recently had a Tsunami there again too. It struck me after the prophesy about Sri Lanka on Sunday.

But the plain fact is that we do not know when this will happen or at what time. It may happen tomorrow or this week, or next month or even in a few years time. That is because God loves us and he does not want to destroy us but when we continue going in the wrong path he will not put up with it.

All in all the only deduction is that even after such a destructive Tsunami our nation of Sri Lanka has not changed and their is rampant corruption, no reconcilliation between the warring factions and it is the fault of both parties, etc.

I have of course made up my mind to pray for my nation and hope that the propesied disaster will not take place and also that this petty conflict among the brothers and sisters in this land which is a family feud that has been dragged enough for too long.

After all we are all SRI LANKANS.
