Need For Speed : Underground 2

Ok, Ok it is about 2 years old. A few weeks ago I was trying to get Need For Speed and this one was the only one that was available, so I picked up a copy.

I absolutely love simulator stuff over the regular shoot and kill games. During the days of my old 386DX computer, I used to play around with a simulator game – the problem is that I cannot remember the name of the game.

Need for Speed : Underground 2 is a really cool game with really cool graphics. I am still getting the hang of playing the game though. However the sound effects could have been better though.

I am hoping to get a copy of the latest release somewhere next year once I finish playing UG2.

 

F1 Spirit : A no nonsense game

I was surfing the web recently and I was desperate to play a game. I am not such a game buff but if I play a game, it will always be a simulation game. I happened to come across a web site that allowed me to download a free Racing Game called F1 Spirit. This game is no “Need for Speed” but when you are in office and you want to take your mind off work and do something then this is the game for you.It requires no installation at all, all you have to do is download the folder and decompress it and voila you have yourself a near simulation game with Stock, Rally and F1 races with a selection of cars.

This game is supposed to be the remake of an older F1 Spirit originally developed by Konami. Well it is not so easy to play and takes some getting used (I am still getting used to it), but once you have the hang of it then it should do rather well as a way of taking your mind off things.

With intellectual property laws being enforced in Sri Lanka it may be difficult to get access to games such as “Need for Speed”, etc for the prices we get them these days, but since this is a free download we should not have any problem at all. The download can be obtained from
